If you're using Spur's automation and someone sends a hi, they will get an automated message from Spur. If you reply to that chat, Spur's automation will be paused for that chat, so that there is no conflict between you and the automation.
But if you have automation enabled through the Meta Business Suite and then someone sends a message for the first time, Meta's automation will take precedence and Spur's automation will be paused for that chat.
Since we have much more comprehensive automation that we've built using Spur, we don't need the Meta's automation anymore, and you can follow these steps to disable Meta's automations and make sure Spur's automations work smoothly:
Go to https://business.facebook.com/latest/inbox/automated_responses, make sure your brand is selected on top left and then turn off all the automation flows by clicking the toggle button -
And that's it! Spur should work perfectly now π
