By setting working hours, you can pause flows and let people know when you are unavailable instead of leaving them hanging.

How to Setup Working Hours in Spur

  1. Select your working days

  2. You can configure timings for each working day individually if you like. By default, they are set to 9AM to 6PM.

How to Implement Working Hours in Automations

Once you have setup working hours in Spur Settings, you can then use the β€œCheck Working Hours” block in the Workflow Builder that can be configured to give a different response based on whether you are in office or not. Here's how that works:

  1. Open the workflow where you would like to implement work timings

  2. Click the blue βž• button and add the "Check Working Hours" box. It will appear at the center of your screen.

  3. Connect the left node of the block just after the step in your workflow where you would like to check for working hours.

  4. On the right side of the block, connect the node adjacent to "True" with the flow you want to execute within working hours.

  5. Similarly, connect the node adjacent to "False" with the flow you want to execute outside of working hours.

Below is a screenshot of an example of how that works:

Note

The timezone for Working Hours will be the same as what is set in your Shopify Store.
