WhatsApp API now supports message templates with GIF headers and they’re available with Spur.

GIFs can help you stand out in a market where brands send boring images and videos.


Steps to start sending messages with GIF

Step 1: Create a Spur Account

Spur is an official WhatsApp Tech Partner, create an account by clicking the button below -

Step 2: Connect WhatsApp with Spur

Step 3: Create A Template With GIF Header

Go to Marketing Tools > Message Templates > Create a new template and select GIF in the header.

Note: You don't upload any media during this step, you upload it in the automation flow or while running a broadcast.

Step 4: Use Template In Automation or Broadcast

Note: You don't upload GIFs here, you upload an MP4 file (less than 3.5MB) - WhatsApp will automatically convert that into a GIF / repeating video.
