What Are Basic Automations?
Basic Automations are prebuilt, simple workflows that handle common scenarios without needing a flow builder. Think default replies when someone messages you outside business hours, or auto-responses when someone comments on your Instagram Live.
They're different from "My Automations" (more advanced flows). Although you can edit them and customize them as well, these are mostly plug-and-play.
What You're Looking At
This is your Basic Automations list. Every row is one ready-made automation tied to a specific channel and account.
Whatsapp Default Reply — Fires when someone sends a message you haven't set up a custom flow for. More on that here.
Instagram Live Comment Reply — Responds to comments during an IG Live session
IG & FB Story Mention — Triggers when someone tags your brand in their Story
IG & FB Default Reply — Catches all other Instagram or Facebook messages that don't match a specific flow

Three-dot menu: Lets you delete the automation.
What You Can Do Here
Turn automations on or off, edit reply messages, check which accounts have automations running, and see when they were last touched.
When to Use Basic Automations
You want a safety net reply for messages you haven't automated yet
You're running an Instagram Live and need instant comment responses
You need a simple "We'll get back to you" message without building a full flow
For more complex stuff, like asking questions, collecting data, or sending different messages based on user answers, head over to My Automations and build a custom flow or use one of our template flows if they match your use case.
