If you have setup certain automations for Instagram or Facebook DMs or replies which aren't working, Spur might not have all the permissions to reply to messages. This article will help you fix that.

Steps to fix -
1. Go to https://www.facebook.com and switch to your business profile.β
If you don't switch to the correct account, you will not see the options described in further steps.
or Go to Settings & Privacy > Page Setup > Instagram Conversation Routing
3. Click on edit for "Default Routing App"
4. Make sure "Spur-IG (IG App)" is selected under default routing app and "Allow this app to take control of conversations" is turned on, then hit save.
That's it. Spur should now have all the permissions to properly reply to all DMs.
To test, send your connected IG page a message from your personal IG account, then use Spur's shared inbox to respond. If message goes, it's working. If not, try the steps below.
If still doesn't work, try this -
1. Go to Page setup > Advanced messaging
2. Except "Spur-IG (IG App)" edit the rest and disable "Take control of conversations"
3. In the Handover protocol section, make sure there no primary received selected. If there's a primary receiver, click on the name to deselect it. Do this for both Messenger and Instagram.
4. After that it should look like this. This means there is no primary receiver selected.
