Guide on the Contacts View in Database

Your main customer list with phone numbers, names, and chat history. Search, filter, and manage all your contacts from one central place.

Updated this week

When you open the Database section and click Contacts, you're looking at your entire customer universe. Here's what each piece does:

Core Contact Info (The Basics)

1. Profile Column

Shows contact names, their profile pics and their phone numbers. Quick visual reference to see who's who. If someone's uploaded a photo (rare but happens), you'll see it here. Otherwise it's their initials in a colored circle.

2. Tags Column

Those blue labels? Tags. Use them to mark VIPs, problem customers, wholesale buyers, whatever categories make sense for your business. You can filter by these later too.

3. Created At When this contact first entered your system. Could be from:

  • Their first WhatsApp message

  • Instagram DM

  • Website chat

  • Manual import

  • Any touchpoint really

Timestamp shows exact date and time. Useful for tracking how long someone's been in your funnel.

4. Custom Fields

This is where it gets interesting. See those values like "lead_collection": "collected"? Custom fields let you store anything:

  • Lead source

  • City

  • Birthday

  • Shirt size

  • Whatever helps you sell better

You define these fields, then use them in automations and segments.
