We’ve launched a new feature on Spur that makes managing your contacts and tags easier than ever. If you’ve been looking for a better way to organize your contacts, this guide is for you!


What’s New with Tag Management?

Previously, managing tags was a simple process, but now you can manage and view all your tags and contacts in one place. With this new Tags tab, you can see all the tags you’ve created and how many contacts are assigned to each tag.

For example, if you have a tag called “Spain”, you can easily click View Contacts to see all contacts under that tag.

What shows up after ''View Contacts''

If you had 20 contacts under the Spain tag, you would see them all listed here. This is like having a mini CRM inside Spur, where you can easily manage contacts based on different categories such as high-value customers or refunded customers.


Managing Tags While Chatting with a Customer

When you’re chatting with a customer, you can quickly see and manage tags for that contact in the Inbox.

For example, let’s say you’re chatting with someone named Prince. You can click on their contact, and on the right-hand pane, you’ll see any tags assigned to them.

If no tags are assigned yet, you can easily add one by clicking in the tags field, typing an existing or new tag name and using the Add tag button to add them. For instance, you could add a tag like “tag121”.

Once the tag is added, you can go to the Tags tab and find Prince under the newly created tag group.

This feature eliminates the need to switch between tabs to see which contacts are assigned to a specific tag. Now, everything is in one place!
