Pre-requisites

  • An active Shopify Store

  • An active WhatsApp Business Account

  • Admin-level access to the Spur Dashboard

  • Flexify App installed on Shopify

Steps to Sync Your Catalogue

Installing and Setting Up Flexify

1. Install Flexify - It's a free app that helps you sync your Facebook Catalog with Shopify. Click "Add app"

2. Click "Install app"

2.1. Start in standalone mode

2.2. Make sure you start a free trial and not pay for the app. Click on "Subscribe to Free Plan"

2.3 Select the collections you want to show on your WhatsApp Catalogue

3. Click "Create feed"

Creating the Facebook catalog and connecting it to Flexify

  1. After you click on create feed, you will now get the steps to create the catalog on Facebook.

  1. Select your profile

  2. Select your business from the dropdown

  3. Click on Add Catalogue

3. Give an easy to identify name to the catalog and hit Next

4. Skip the Meta Event tracking

5. Skip giving permissions

Click on connect to a data feed

6. Go back to Flexify onboarding, check mark all the steps there & hit "Done"

7. Click "Copy feed URL to clipboard"

8. Go back to Meta and paste it

9. Setting your currency and hit Upload

Setting the Importer Information

In some countries, WhatsApp mandates importer information to display the catalog. To do that, first mark the setup of Flexify as completed.

Go to Settings of Flexify. Make sure "Use global importer information" is selected, enter your store name in "Importer name", select your address, enter your "Origin country" and enter "." (dot) in "Manufacturer info"

Connecting the Catalog in Spur

Go to Spur > Settings > WhatsApp > Channel Overview > Catalog and click on "Connect Catalog".

Select the catalog we just created again and click on Connect Catalog

Wait for 15-20 minutes for the catalogue to sync and then it will start showing on your WhatsApp number connected with Spur :)
