Let's take an example: If your WhatsApp messaging limit allows you to message only 1000 unique contacts per 24 hours, but you want to shoot a broadcast and for that broadcast, your intended audience size exceeds that (e.g. 1800 people), you can still reach everyone by splitting your broadcasts into batches.
Here’s how you can do it without any overlap:
Step 1: Send the First Broadcast (Batch 1)
Go to Broadcasts.
Select your target segment (e.g. 1800 people).
In the Send To section, manually limit the audience to 1000 people, whichever fits within your current limit.
Send the broadcast.
After it’s sent, go to Contacts > Segments and create a new segment of just these recipients, label it something like Batch 1 - Sent Aug 21.
Step 2: Send the Second Broadcast (Batch 2)
Return to Broadcasts and duplicate the first one.
In the Send To section, again select your original full segment (e.g. 1800 people).
In the Don’t Send To section, add the segment you created in Step 1 (Batch 1 - Sent Aug 21).
This will exclude anyone who has already received the first broadcast and send only to the remaining contacts (800 people).
Proceed to send the message to this second batch once your messaging window refreshes.
Benefits of This Method
No overlap or duplication.
Full coverage of your audience, spread across multiple days.
Works seamlessly with contact-based messaging limits.
