Phone number is not verified through SMS or voice, please use Embedded Signup, WhatsApp Manager, Direct Signup, or Graph API depending on your use case to verify your phone first or contact support for help
WhatsApp onboarding has a bug and sometimes requires you to re-verify the ownership of the number, it can be done in 3 simple steps.
How to Verify WhatsApp Number
First head to Settings -> WhatsApp -> Overview of the number you want to fix. Then click on the three dots next to "Code Verification Status"
Pro Tip: SMS OTP might not always come, but call OTP is super reliable, so try that if you can receive a call on this sim.
After you get the OTP, just enter it in the box and hit submit!
Refresh WhatsApp Settings
After you've verified the number, make sure to Refresh WhatsApp settings for any changes to take effect.
