If you've not used Nitro before, please install their app and create an account. Here's the link to their Shopify app.
After you've done that, follow the steps below to integrate Nitro with Spur.
Initiate Nitro Integration
Navigate to Settings > Integration > Nitro.
Click on Manage.
Click on 'Integrate with Nitro' and follow the instructions you see on screen.
Below are some screenshots showing this process visually:
Verify Nitro API Client Key
• Once integrated, check Settings > API.
• Ensure the Nitro client key appears in the API client keys list.
If you see the key, that means that integration with Nitro was successful.
However, if you don't see it, that means that something went wrong. You should repeat the steps to connect Nitro, but if that doesn't help, you can reach out to support.
Automations with Nitro
You can utilize the data Nitro is capturing and use that to trigger automations. There are two way to do so - you can either use the default automations the Spur team has created, or you can create your own flow.
Using Automation Templates created by Spur
Go to Automations and click New Flow
Choose your Number under WhatsApp and select that channel.
Next, search for the "Nitro" template in the template search screen that opens.
You can then select any of our default nitro templates and use that template.
Clicking on "Use Template" will open the automation builder in a new tab. Simply enable and save the flow.
That's it! The template is created and activated.
At the time of writing, we have two automation templates for Nitro - Abandoned Product and Abandoned Cart. But you may find more in the future - the process to find and enable them will remain the same.
Creating your own Automations with Nitro triggers
Besides using our automation templates, you can also create your own automations based on triggers received from Nitro.
Once you've integrated Nitro, you will find these new triggers when you create a new automation from scratch.
Triggers available with Nitro Integration
Nitro - Page Viewed: Triggers when someone views a page on your website.
Nitro - Category Viewed: Triggers when someone views a category.
Nitro - Product Viewed: Triggers when someone views a product.
Nitro - Added to Cart: Triggers when someone adds a product to their cart.
Nitro - Removed from Cart: Triggers when someone removes a product from their cart.
Nitro - Checkout: Triggers when someone initiates a checkout.
Of course, each trigger has their own variables that can be used throughout the flow. For example, the "Nitro - Product Viewed" trigger sends us the name, variant, price, link, image, etc of the Product that was viewed, that can be used in your flow.
Nitro triggers also send us the name, phone number and email of the potential customer if it is available in Nitro's database.
Broadcasting to Nitro Leads
By default, all leads captured by Nitro are automatically synced with Spur and will show up with the rest of your total contacts in Database.
If you would like to specifically target the leads you've gotten from Nitro, you can do so by creating a segment to include contacts with the "Nitro" Shopify tag. Below is a screenshot of what that would look like:
