We Recommend Using Magic Message
At Spur, we do not recommend switching away from Magic Message.
Magic Message is designed to let you continue messaging customers even after WhatsApp's 24-hour conversation window has closed. It converts your message into an image and sends it using a utility template, allowing you to communicate without waiting for the customer to reply first.

Can I Disable Magic Message?
No. Magic Message cannot be completely disabled.
However, you can customize the template that Magic Message uses.
To do this:
Create a new utility template that satisfies all of Magic Message's requirements.
Set it as your Magic Message template from the Magic Message settings page.

I Don't Want My Message to Be Sent as an Image
If you'd rather send a regular WhatsApp template instead of using Magic Message, you can.
Step 1: Create Your Own Utility Template
Create a utility template containing the message you'd like customers to receive. This template will be submitted to Meta for approval.
Step 2: Use the Template to Reopen Conversations
Whenever a customer's 24-hour conversation window has expired:
Click the Send Template button in the chat.
Select your approved utility template.
Send it to the customer.
Once the customer replies, the 24-hour conversation window reopens and you can continue chatting normally with free-form text messages.
Note: Unlike Magic Message, this method sends the exact utility template you've created. It does not convert your custom message into an image.
