Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) falls under the ambit of the Indian Revenue Services i.e IRS. It is a form of tax that is collected by the Indian Government and is managed by the CBDT i.e. Central Board of Direct Taxes.
At Spur, we use Stripe for billing and it does not support deducting TDS automatically in recurring transactions. So how do it then?
You can still go ahead and file the TDS inputs, for payments to Spur, TDS deduction falls into the 2% bracket.
Spur will issue a credit note, once the TDS certificate is submitted by the Customer. The credit note will be adjusted in the next invoice or will be paid back in the customer's account.
And then message our support with the inputs you've submitted, we'll do the same on the income tax portal and you will get the input back.
