If your active contacts exceed the limit of your current plan during a billing cycle, there’s no need to worry. We don’t auto-upgrade your plan; instead, an additional charge is applied for the extra contacts.
How Are Additional Charges Calculated?
To determine the additional charge, we calculate the difference between:
The cost of your current plan.
The cost of the plan that corresponds to your actual active contacts.
Example Scenario
Let’s say you are on the Monthly Plan for 501 to 1500 Active Contacts, which costs $69
.
During this billing cycle (e.g., 15th Jan to 15th Feb), your account exceeds 40,000 active contacts.
Here’s how the additional charge will be calculated:
Your current plan cost: $69 (501 to 1500 Active Contacts).
Cost of the plan for your current active contacts (40,001 to 50,000): $349.
Additional charge for this month:
$349 - $69 = $280
.
Total charge for this month: $69 + $280 = $349
.
What Happens Next Month?
If your active contacts drop back to within your plan’s limit (e.g., 1500 contacts or less), you will only be charged the base amount of $69
for the following month.
Key Points to Remember
We don’t automatically upgrade your plan. Instead, an additional charge is applied based on the difference in pricing.
You’ll always pay for the plan that fits your active contacts during the billing cycle.
If your active contacts go back within the plan limit, the additional charge won’t apply in the next cycle.
